Naomi has more than 10 years of clinical experience both in Japan and Canada. Before moving to Toronto, she has worked as a physiotherapist for more than 7 years in rehabilitation room at hospital and home-care physiotherapy in Kagoshima, Japan.
After school, Naomi started working as a licensed physiotherapist at Ibusuki Sagara hospital for more than 7 years. She was mainly helping rehabilitate patients with stroke, poliomyelitis, fracture, dislocation, spine surgery, hip and knee replacement. She developed plans to make patients regain mobility with strength training, exercises and stretching then performed diagnostic exams to evaluate muscle, nerve, joint and functional ability.
Since moving to Toronto in 2016, Naomi was impressed with Taka’s method and decided to work with him. She combines her rehabilitation experience and Taka’s method. She reduces pain and restores function to an injured shoulder, knee, or other joint or extremity. Naomi sees patients of all ages and abilities who have a musculoskeletal pain, sports injury or have had orthopedic surgery, such as joint replacement, arthroscopy, or fracture repair. She has extensive knowledge and special training to provide the post-operative rehabilitation you need starting immediately after surgery.
