James Kweon is now working at J.CARE as a R.Ac (Registered Acupuncturist in Ontario) and RMT (Registered Massage Therapist in Ontario) on Wednesdays 1pm-6pm.
As an acupuncturist, he has previous education and experience in South Korea. Acupuncture is applied to a wide range of health problems including relieving pain (muscle, headache, sprain, PMS…), boosting energy, decreasing anxiety and depression, and recovering internal organ function.
His major acupuncture techniques are Korean four-needle acupuncture and Chinese acupuncture.
He also combines gua sha, tuina, cupping, moxibustion, meridian massage, and acupressure massage in his practice.
As an RMT, his major practice includes deep tissue massage, myofascial stretching, and trigger point release.
Additionally, he does Swedish massage, lymphatic drainage massage, hydrotherapy, joint mobilization, hot stone therapy, and cupping.
With his passion and diversity of training, he is able to ensure that every client’s care is customized to their specific needs.
